During our daily feeding campaign in our area, we encountered a tiny puppy who instantly captured our hearts.
She was incredibly small, about the size of a smartphone, with eyes no larger than corn seeds. She was so delicate that we worried holding her might hurt her.
We named her Tiny Tini Mini, or Tinu for short. We weren’t sure who abandoned Tinu in that place, but we knew it wasn’t safe for her.
While the dogs we feed are generally friendly and sweet, they can become protective of their territory, especially when they feel threatened.
There had been a previous incident where local dogs killed two abandoned puppies in the area. To protect Tinu, we placed her in our feeding bucket and brought her home.
From a vulnerable stray to our shelter’s watchful guardian, Tinu’s journey is truly inspiring.
Despite her adorable appearance, Tinu never got adopted, likely because she was a female dog. Leaving her back on the streets was not an option, so she became part of our family.
Now, Tinu works as the “CCTV” and doorbell of our shelter. She has a favorite spot high up in the shelter where she can observe everything.
She learned to climb the stairs to get up there but always needs our help to come down. Though Tinu was tiny before, she is still small now, having grown from the size of a smartphone to the size of a cushion.
She is an indispensable part of our family, keeping a watchful eye over our shelter with her unique charm. Tinu’s presence reminds us daily of the joy and love rescued animals bring into our lives.
She is a reminder to the joy and love that rescued animals can bring into our lives. See you on the next mail and hope you’re enjoying the story.
