Seti
Meet Seti, the most senior dog in our shelter. Her story began years ago when she would joyfully follow her favorite person on daily walks, accompanied by her friends Mini Bhai and Tommy. They were a delightful trio, protecting and caring for each other like a family.
Tragically, Seti lost her friends to old age and sickness. Her own hardships continued when she was hit by a vehicle, breaking her leg and spending a month in the hospital.
Upon returning to the street, she found herself alone and dominated by new, aggressive dogs in the area. Gentle and unable to defend herself, Seti sought refuge in an abandoned house, where her once-happy spirit dwindled, and her joyful bark fell silent.
The situation worsened when a dog named Kali attacked her, leaving Seti unconscious. Locals intervened, and Seti was rushed to our shelter for treatment.
Now, at 17, Seti has transformed into a serene golden beauty, spending her days napping on her couch. Though the trauma kept her silent for years, she has started to bark occasionally, and she still enjoys walking in the alley where she spent the first decade of her life.
