Sumnima

Meet Sumnima, a sweet and shy girl with one gray eye and pink lips that add to her unique charm in our shelter. She loves to playfully “fight” in her dog language when she feels playful.

Initially, Sumnima wasn’t very social with people outside our family, but with regular interaction, she has started to accept treats from visitors, showing her progress in socializing.

How We Found Sumnima

On a dark, quiet night in December 2017, around 3 AM, we were woken by the sound of puppies barking. Concerned, we investigated and found four tiny puppies near a tube well, shivering in the cold and soaked in drainage water. One of them was Sumnima, just two weeks old.

As Sumnima grew, we planned to find her a loving home once she was at least a month old. Sadly, she contracted Parvo, delaying her adoption.

At two months old, Sumnima was healthy again, but finding her a home proved difficult. Most adopters wanted tiny pets or guard dogs, not family members, and her chances of being adopted grew slim.

Despite our efforts, Sumnima was never adopted. Instead, she became a beloved part of our family. Now pampered by everyone, Sumnima still thinks of herself as a baby. Spoiled and craving love, she brings so much joy to our lives.
